| The Central Accreditation Committee is a high-level group comprising of Alliance board members and outside experts which receives assessors' reports and takes a holistic view on their recommendations considering all relevant factors. For this purpose, a panel of experts is maintained, of men and women of eminence and integrity, possessing skills in the areas of management,finance and social work. The group is chaired by a senior member of the Governing Board of the Alliance and is serviced by the Executive Director. The group meets periodically as and when a bunch of assessment reports have been received and are ready for final processing. Currently the Committee meets at the Alliance's headquarters but we foresee zonal or regional committees emerging as volumes grow. |
